What's up? It's Ricky C. here. The C. is silent. I'm filling in for Grace this week, and I'm going to share with you the four secrets to success.

A little bit about me, I'm from Charlotte, North Carolina (go Panthers), and I love hiking, going to the gym, and hanging with my bros.

Growing up, if I wasn't out playing softball with my little sister, I was at home, working in my room inventing cleaning products or creating new ways to spell words like, onomatopoeia and cankles. (attamottapia; xancles)

Then, in 2017, my senior year of college, my mom passed away. Her dream was to see all of her kids finish college. When she died, I went into a dark place. I didn't eat. I didn't sleep, and I'd forget how to do basic things like, brush my teeth or hold my pee.

One night, my roommates had some friends over for a karaoke party. But their karaoke machine broke after I spilt a bowl salsa on it. So I went to work, and I worked all night and all day until I fixed that karaoke machine. Then, the next week, everyone came over again and we karaoked all night long.

You see, they had a dream. A dream to sing Weezer songs into the wee hours of the night. And I got to help make that dream come true. Seeing the joy on their faces when they found out they could karaoke all night made me realize my passion.

My dream is to help people identify their dream, develop a plan, and turn that dream into reality.

So many people have dreams without the wheels to move them forward. It could be for financial reasons. Maybe you don't know where to start. You're not alone. In fact, according to White Men Reading about White Men magazine, 96% of Americans have dreams but only 40% pursue those dreams per year, and only 12% stick to it.

So in 2018, I released the "Make It" app.

"Don't just think it,

Make It."

The "Make It" app functions as a personal assistant.

How does it work?

What you do is write down your idea in the app, and as soon as you write it down search engines filter through information to find you content that coincides with your idea to help you figure out what your next step is. Sometimes, when you're first getting started on a project, it's hard to know what questions to ask. So, the app is designed to show you what questions to ask.

Once the research has been conducted, the app then advices you on how to develop your idea into a ten step plan. The app also connects to your calendar, so you can set dates for each step, If you subscribe to the "Make It" network, you'll have the opportunity to chat with like-minded individuals, as well as find a mentor. To subscribe, all you have to do is have an idea and pay $5 a month. That's only the price of one cup of coffee a month. How much is your dream worth to you?

Today, I'm going to quickly go over with you the four secrets to success. These are things you can do right now. I hear so many people say, "Oh, Ricky C. (the C. is silent) I know what I want, and I know what it takes to get it, but I can't afford it" or "I have a family," but you don't have to make those excuses anymore. What I am going to share with you are the five secrets to success that cost little to no money. I even took the liberty of creating a few catch phrases to help you remember the steps. Are you ready? Let's do it.

Secret #1:

Take time to breathe. I take two hours to meditate every morning. It helps me stay focused throughout the day and more self aware. Remember, if you:

Take time to breathe, you will achieve.

Secret #2:

Give something for yourself to look forward to everyday. That could be something as simples as a cup of coffee but give something yourself to look forward to. I like to go to the gym for three hours a day. I try to go in the morning, but if i miss, I always go at night. I go to clear my mind and work on my body because:

Health = Wealth

Secret #3:

Be male. I talked to a woman once, and in her experience, she found that it's easier to be successful if you're a male. This is information coming straight from a woman, so you know it's true.

Afraid to fail? Just be male.

(Points if you're Jewish)

Secret #4:

Drink water. Water is a life source. Without it, you're gonna feel drained, fatigued, and probably get divorced. I drink a gallon or two a day. You don't have to drink that much, but it's important to drink at least your body weight in ounces a day. So:

When you feel deflated, stay hydrated.

That's it guys. Those are the four secrets to success. If you can do those four things, you can achieve any goal. And don't forget to download the "Make It" app. Make sure to sign up and get your mentor. Don't wait! Your next step is only a step away..

Ricky C. out.
